Albion Cottage is now available for vacation rental.Albion Cottage is located on the beautiful coast of northern California on rugged but scenic Highway 1. Our cottage is the perfect base for a summer vacation of fishing, boating, diving, kayaking, hiking the trails and parks or just setting back to enjoy the Pacific air conditioning. A docking space across the river at the campground is included for boat owners. Built in 1901, Albion Cottage is a quaint design of a nice liveable size home with few changes over the years. An indoor bathroom was added many years ago and improved on through the years. A roofed deck was added later. A modern kitchen was installed over the winter of 2008 to 2009 and is fully furnished. Newly redecorated in 2008 - 2009 the cottage provides two bedrooms and one bath. A queen size bed is in the spacious master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. A free standing wood stove is in the living room. Firewood is provided. Room heating is by baseboard heaters. It's location on the river bank provides privacy with a view of Albion Bridge and Pacific sunsets. Access to the cottage is on the original coast highway through Albion and down to old Albion River Road to the river. A guardrail is installed at the end of the county road. There is no cell phone service in this part of the world and no telephone in the cottage. There is wi-fi for internet service. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING IN THE COTTAGE. |
